Sharing update to your Meebo Bar

We've added two new features that will make it even easier for users to share from your site. Use the updated Meebo Dashboard Control Panel to configure these new features.

Text Share

When a user selects 8 or more words of text on your site, a small share button will appear, allowing the user to instantly share the selected text via email, IM, Facebook, Twitter, or Google Buzz. Combined with the Share button on the bar and Meebo's groundbreaking drag-to-share interface for images and videos, your Meebo Bar can now allow users to tell their friends about interesting and cool things on your site in more ways than ever.

Share Buttons

You've seen share buttons before. You may have even created your own Meebo share buttons using our sharing API. But now we've created some pre-built buttons that are oh-so-easy to use. Choose from large buttons, small buttons, or a single share button to best fit the design of your site, and then just copy and paste the code wherever you like. Clicking a button launches Meebo's sharing dock, providing a consistent share experience across your site and allowing you to track all of your sharing statistics from the Meebo Dashboard. To create your own sharing buttons in less than a minute, click Get Share Buttons on your Control Panel.
